This week is the week of the "Trillian". Man, I have never seen so man positive reviews on a product. I have placed everyones review below. I downloaded Trillian and am using it as we speak. I have chatted with friends in ICQ, AOL, MSN and YAHOO and it works! I am very pleased. I just figured out how to alter soundsand subbed in some old ICQ ones so I feel at home. My one small complaint is that my blog used a key combo of CTRL SHIFT A and Trillian grabs this. Can I alter this in the pro version? I cant seem to alter the write combo in standard. This weeks news also has lots on spam fighting AND an anonymous user says he makes tons of money spamming and wants to present the other side of the case. It still scares the pants off me but you may find it an interesting read. This and a little more.

Just read today's issue and wanted to comment on Spam Assasin. It's an
awesome program and nails better than 99% of all spam. Occasionally one or
two slip through the cracks but you deal with it. Anyway I thought you
would be inerested to know that your newsletter gets tagged as spam by the
Spam Assasin program!! It scores your newsletter as a 10.6 spam content. I
have set a 5.0 threshold. I discovered this about a month ago when I
noticed that I wasn't getting the newsletter. I now set a different filter
that allows you to make it through :-)

I've been able to bypass any Ebay/Paypal
adult stuff rules by a country mile because I'm a professional artist. I was
successful at it from day-one. I've been busy with other stuff and will be
using it more later this year. Unfortunately because it's a lot of effort on
my part it's not applicable to the average webmaster because I create my
content for the adult market and mainstream. It's not that it costs an arm
and a leg to set up, It's just in today's adult market I run into too many
scamsters so I could only work with a large company that has the time and
coin to invest. Basically, if you are an artist, you can bypass the
ebay/paypal bs easily. If not, go find an artist and hire them. It only takes
as long as it takes for the art team to create. It has to be HAND created
stuff. Not cameras or computer generated. Everything else is in a different
category and gets da' hammer by ebay. I knew something was up last summer
when I saw guys gettin' knocked offa ebay. They went right past me like I was
invisible and a fellow artist told me why because she works for ebay. The
reason is because hand art can explode in value like mad and if ebay gives
you the thumbs down and your shit blows up on another site it can easily draw
a ton of customers and coin away like mad. It's easy to define porn from art
but even ebay doesn't wanna be stupid enough to fire up that bad boy cause
one mistake could mean irrevocable disaster and courtroom crap.

time about spam is no good and it doesn't make
money blah blah blah... I can only tell you positive
stories lol.... sure you deal with a few nazi's but
if you carefully purchase targeted lists you avoid
the idiots.

Let me tell you that it is a myth that only a "few"
big porn companies are collecting from spam.
I know personally of many smaller players
collecting anywhere from $10,000 - $300,000
per month from bulk email/spam activities.

It blows my mind when people say that there is
no money in spam lol... There is an art to it
definately... one of them is just not to "blanket"
spam... e.g. you can buy or trade for email
lists of ex-subscribers to porn sites etc....plus
many other places... because they haven't opted
in to receive your emails you get spam compliants...
but you also get incredible sign ups if the list is
a) fresh & b) target a product/service to it...

I could go on and on about it and I am sure you
would know of a lot of players besides the big
names that are quietly banking from emailing...

all this info I have shared
is only the tip of the iceberg... as you can imagine many
people don't run around saying they are spammers but
its a joke at most of the adult webmaster expo's a lot
of people call them a "spammer conventions!!"....

Regarding your question on the sexswap issue, i must say that trillian is
a great IM. It's not just the all-IMs-in-one thing, but also the new
features it has and its amazing user interface.
I was an icq lover until i knew Trillian and there are very little
features that are not present, like birthdays remainder (very useful by
the way). For the rest of IMs i think Trillian improves the original.

The best points of Trillian are emoticons, which sometimes are animated
and have sounds, and the incredible amount of setup parameters you can
change on it. It also has some new concepts such as metacontacts (lets you
'join' the contacts of the same person on different IMs into one 'big'
contact icon), configurable online alerts (you decide wich contacts will
pop an alert window when she gets online) and windows transparency.

These are much less saturated than Sex ones. And you tell me if you reckon

I have been reading your newsletter for about a year now, but never really had much feedback to give, untill now. I have been using Trillian for about three months now and I love it and find it quite usefull. I had stopped using IM's previously because there are too many of them, and various clients and friends all use different ones. I also don't like ICQ because it is too bulky and has too many functions I don't want or use. Trillian seemlessly pulls them all together and works alomst perfectly. I mainly do design these days in this buiz and Trillian is great for keeping in contact with my clients for free. I have a few Canadian clients and Trillian is great for communicating with them in place of phone calls, no matter what IM they use.

It keeps a list of all the urls entered during talks and even transcripts of past conversations. I am only using the free version right now, but I have heard that the Pro version is even better, which is easy to believe. Anyhow, it is a great product and I have turned a number of people on to it and they are all switching over to it! I'm glad you discovered it as well! It also doesn't hurt that it is named after a Douglas Adams charcter from The HitchHikers Guide To The Galaxy either... :)

I have been in contact with Rand @ Epoch/Epassporte regarding the
Epassporte system of late rand.pate@epassporte.com and he was able to answer
several questions for me. Anyone is able to use Epassporte to send/receive
money (As with Paypal's send money feature), however you may need a business
class account with them. If you'd like to use their system to process
payments, you will be required to sign on with Epoch as your IPSP and pay
the Visa registration fee of $750. Epassporte has integrated API's for
payment processing and also for sending payments to affiliates. I've heard
many good things about their new company and see great things in their
future. However, you're still limited to being an American or having an
American corporation with proper representation to use them for processing.
