This week I finally figured out how to do am mpeg url popper...woohooo! Mark wrote in with the most detailed explanation yet and I decided to hunt down the code and give it a try and it magically worked. Maybe I will try and do a few screen captures next week of how Mark showed me how to do it. His tutorial is below and he has some really trick additional comments that I had never seen.

Here is a point I try to always make to people. You have to become an absolute expert in the method of finding traffic that you want to be good at. I often get letters like "I tried submiting to search engines and I got three hits". Well did use 50 domain names with links back and forth to every domian? Did you set up scripts to submit X amount of urls to the engines each day (just enough that you do not get banned). Did you optimize each door so it was random and not appear as a door but looked like content and had the highest chance to place high? The traffic game is a very competitve game and you must be a complete PRO-LEVEL expert in the method you are trying to extract hits with. Here is another example "I posted to newsgroups and got three hits?". Did you create software that randomizes each post and insures you are not in violation of spam filters to avoid getting filtered? Did you submit 500-1000 posts to 700 groups? Did you use urls on pics? Did you use mpeg url poppers on videos? Etc. How about "I sumbitted to TGPs and didn't make any money. Well for each of these letters, I know someone who is doing $100k+ a year with that method.

What did Mark say that was different than everyone else? He said this in a very subtle way "use a script that takes one movie and duplicates it 1000 times with different titles and key words". There is my favorite things again "labor saving scripts!" and then you use the script to spam kaaza etc. With 500 movies..all with different titles and keywords...you have a much higher likely hood of download...same as engine doors. Mark will tell you that he makes GREAT coin doing what he does. I consider him pro-level in the mpeg url popper game. You muct get to this level, since traffic is a highly competitive game.

SEXSWAP PORTED FROM NT TO UNIX/LINUX
It's been a big project taking a couple of years, but Gus-The-Programmer has successfully ported his original NT based swap code over to Unix. Gus first testing the new code out on AsianSwap 4 weeks ago and we pretty well have all the bugs out at this point. Now Gay, S2, Asian, S2000 are all running the new code! If you find any weird form errors, just let me know and we will try and solve them quickly. S1 should be transferring over in the next couple of week. We instantly saw a cool speed increase with Asian. Gus has also added pro-level crook chasing features, so secretive, that he will not even tell them to me, since I would say too much about them =) More ported swap stories as they develop.

The <LIMIT HEAD> directive should "stop" the guessing by returning 403 - Forbidden errors but if his server is getting overwhelmed, then he's going to have to block packets from even getting to the webserver.

The best solution is to set up ip_filter (coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/) and temporarily "deny" packets coming from that particular IP address. It's not too difficult to set up a dyanmic system that will detect "brute force" attempts, filter them for 30-60 minutes, then unfilter them.

Apache does not provide a way to block specifically HEAD requests.
Supposedly if you block GET requests, it blocks HEAD requests too. The way
I'd recommend doing it is to use a script of some sort to monitor HEAD
requests and add offending IPs to a ban list. The ban list could be
recycled every day by a cron job. The script would modify .htaccess files
to use <limit> directives or possibly mod_rewrite to ban the bad IPs.

Then again, since Apache is open source, maybe some hacker will come up with
a way to block head requests...

I have since seen you post info from other webmasters using this method to generate hits. First off, They are all wrong. They must be hiding the true process for a good clean way to work this method. Let me clear this up for you.

1. Find a Good Quality Porno Video. One that you would save for another "spank session"

5. Find either GNUT or Mutella to serve your Porno Clips to the Gnutella users. This is free and you'll find it all over the internet. Only Basic Unix knowledge needed to configure these programs.
6. Don't even Bother trying to serve these files from your home computer with your dial up or broadband. You will not get the results needed. You must have them on a server with at least a T1 speed.

this is an area that is fairly subjective. I wrote about this a little once. When I used to own a sign shop, we would occasionally see studies in magazines showing the colors that are the easiest to read, the furthest away. The tests almost always ended up

As a general rule of thumb, it is easier for humans to read dark letters on a black background. Newspapers are like that, magazines, MPH signs, etc. You could argue that the reverse is true.
