Another pulse pounding, kneecap gnawing issue of SexSwap! I must take a
chance however and alert to a possible means of a global attack that may have
already happened and is lying dormant. It's viruses via mpegs.

How? If you recall a few weeks ago a bit of a rowe about jpeg viruses. Some
jpegs containing a virus or a dormant virus with a detonator. Jpegs are often
used if I recall as source imagery for mpegs. So since it takes only one jpeg
to cause this damage and since most use Windows Media Player, a popular mpeg
like that slain reporter Daniel Pearl or even the newest movie teaser only
need contain 1 jpeg image. That image however comes corrupted BUT if it's at
the FRONT or END of the mpeg it would just look like leader footage.

If some evil mad scientist put a dormant virus and it's detonator at the
beginning and end of an mpeg and it had a title like ' Man bites dog's head
off and explodes ' you know every sucker is gonna download it and then WHAM.
Sorry, I'm paranoid. :)

I would not hide your identity....I think you will get in trouble. I try to play by the rules but push them to their limits. so I try to get software that posts to groups following the rules, but allows me to post a lot. generally this means that every post has to be different and the posts have to be on topic

newsgroups and their moderators
tracked me down and reported me to my access-provider.

again, I think it is bad to hide and possibly illegal. I generaly have a very good relationship to my hosts and ISP and let them know what I am up to before I try it. I think when you get into hiding and sneaking around, you are going to get into trouble fast. If you are posting individual messages, that are about the topic you are posting to, then people can complain but they have little legs to stand on. If you are sneaking around under false IDs and hammering groups, it is only a matter of time before you lose your account and perhaps even get fined.

personally I would not do this. I do not know how to do it. I am sure there is a way but you are asking for trouble if you go down that path. I urge you to think of a safer strategy.

here is another point that people have brought up before with email spam.... You can hide all you want but...all I have to do is follow the money. If you spam and are successful and hiding your IP. All I have to do is find the affiliate program you are sending to, locate the account ID, and call the affiliate program and say "cancel this guy...he is spamming illegally with forged headers". I find if you play by the rules...althought push them, then the usenet nazi's can only say "that guy posted a commercial post" ...so what. "that guy posted way yo many messages" ..so what.

I get about 500-1000 spams a day. What I did to control it is to set the spam filters on my hotmail account.

>Options>Junk Mail Deletion >Choose immediate or delayed deletion of 'junk' messages.

I use the delayed deletion because legit mail gets spam filtered. I also like to scan the junk mail anyway to get words for ads.

Been reading the back issues of SexSwap Newsletter. Wanted to mention a little trick I do for anti-spam when having to fill out forms on web pages.

It's prob well known, but just in case...
When you fill out a web form that requires an Email, add a new alias in
/etc/aliases (or /etc/mail/aliases for me) and make it unique. Say I'm
fillling out a form on Lips.com, I'd add: dproper_LIPS etc.
Then make a note in a comment which web site it's from, what thier EMail
address is, and the date. Then, if you start getting spam to that address,
send them a little EMail with something like: "Thank you for selling my
email address to spammers. I appriciate it. So much so I'm going to
forward it all back to you. Have a nice day." Then just change that
aliases to point to thier email address instead of yours.

It's a nice way to get revenge. If enough people would do that maybe
companies wouldn't sell our info.

What is most likly to happen is people will start to do the reverse
filtering you've been talking about. Let the people you know in, and kill
the rest. Or at least put them in a spam folder to look threw later.

That reminds me.. Not sure I saw this one mentioned. As a modification to
the "If you are real and need to get ahold of me" type auto responces,
search for a "password" in the subject line. If it's a spammer bot, it'll
ignore the msg. Hell, prob wont even be a real address. But if it's a
human, tell them to send the msg with this "password" in the subject. When
the filters get msgs with this password, allow it. Then add them to your
"allowed" list. Change the password once a day if automatic or once a week
if manual.

What have I always said for the last 5 years? "You can't buy traffic cheap enough to make money on it do to the laws of supply and demand". The only way I believe a site can buy traffic at a low enough rate is 1) they are so big that they have economies of scale and they milk every hit for the last drop of money or 2) they have some rare new niche that is temporarily, extra popular and so they are temporarily making more money and able to buy traffic.

Even though I continue to state this as time goes on, I still get 3-4 emails a week from people interested in buying SexSwap traffic. I cannot chase them away =) I am going to give into the pressure and offer this traffic publicy for the first time AND again I issue my warning "I highly advise people not to buy traffic since you generally cannot find it at a low enough rate to make any money on it". =)

Are you still with me? Why then, would I sell traffic? The only reason on earth I would sell traffic is if I can sell if mathematically for more money than I currently make with it. This means that you must assume you are better at converting it than me in order for it to be of interest to you. Does this make any sense? Most sites do not tell you this...they just sell you traffic and you wonder why you made no money. I tell you before hand why you are going to make no money :) But hey...you might have some special site that makes above average profits and therefore you may show me to be wrong.

PRICES
If you are interested in SexSwap traffic, then here is what I would sell it for, with the rules

1. BLIND and RAW
and we count count it, just like we always have and we control the 'banner' sending the traffic. If you do not trust me or Gamma, do not buy traffic from me. I don't give a rat's ass what your unique counter says...unique counters are such bullshit that smoke comes out my nose when anyone tries to even mention comparing one sites unique hit count to another.

2. MIMIMUM 100,000 HITS $1,000 PRE PAID
If we develop a relationship, perhaps the pre paid can be softened. We can send that amount of hits in approximately 3-4 days.

3. MAXIMUM $1,000 FIRST ORDER
we want you to test and not scream at us

4. TRAFFIC CANNOT BE SPREAD OUT
it is 20,000+ hits a day.

MATH AND WHAT I MAKE ON THAT TRAFFIC NOW
Right now I make 0.006 cents on this blind raw traffic. That is 6/10ths of one cent. I am selling it at 1 cent or 10/10ths of one sent so you would need to believe you can convert it better than me and make more on it.
