aye carrumba. that is the only way I can describe this week MONSTER sized PRO
LEVE version of SexSwap news. Yikes! I have to stop talking since this week's
issue has grown out of control! don't know where to start. First, you better
poor a stiff drink or brew a pot of black coffee...it is going to be a FULL
PULL. Now I gotta warn you, there is plenty of BS and my extreme opinions in
this issue and you might be saying to yourself "guru-O-guf, you are so full of
crap that your eyes are brown!" ...hee hee haaaa. That may very well be
true...but if you feel that way, I would love you to write in and I am happy to
add your side of the story to next weeks letter. =) And if you agree with
some of the blarney and want to sound off, please drop me a line as well.

There are so many stories that I can't even remember them all. Let me just do a
few quick sentences on what is below. Porn less searched on engine and while I
feel this is good. Legal child porn sites all over the news and they raise many
questions on morality and legality. ASCII and html email solutions. Owner of
fuckedcompany.com does $70k gross with amazon in 2 months! Good news all over
for economy. I begged Blacula to reprint some of his terrific thoughts on TGPs
and some of you might not like it...and some of you will agree. Jspr sends in
some great comments on other roads to travel beside the "Paysite". I get on a
soap box and scream that YES web ads work and that this new flash big bullcrap
ads work but so would an animated 600x600 gif and we should always HAMMER
surfers on the head with ads like porn folks have been doing since the dawn of
time. A little Mike Tyson banter. This and a pile of crud more!

OK, one more thing before we go any further. You know I occasional enjoy
recommended a rare food or drink find. First it was Jim Beam, the Flaming Hot
Cheetos, and then lots of StarBucks. While now I have a food so addicting, so
bad for you, you might be scared to buy a bag. There is a cookie that I now
eating morning noon and night. These should not be even referred to as cookies
but should be called "Icing In a Bag shaped like cookies so you can justify
eating them". I am talking about Mother's Circus Cookies. They are in a white
bag with pink and white cookies. Next time you get groceries...give these
little devils a try :)

GINGER AUCTION ENDS WITH THREE $100K BIDS from Richard + SignGuy
news.com.com/2100-1017-871142.html?tag=dd.ne.dht.nl-sty.0
msn.com.com/2100-1106-871286.html

This is sort of a near story since I am familiar with one of the buyers. I
first got into the online adult sector in the early 90's with a Macintosh BBS
system called "First Class" which was written by Softarc. At one point, there
was only about 6 of us FirstClass BBSs that were TCP/IP able from the internet.
Digital Nation was one of them. It was a great site and I frequented it often.
My site was California Lip Service. FirstClass software had a stupid vision of
the future and had no idea whay the web was becoming. They continued to believe
everything wouls stay client / server like AOL. Windows based systems were
going web based and some of the signup rates on these first web based adult
sites were astouding. It was like floodgates were opened. Many BBSs gave up
BBSing and went into Dial-Up and then into hosting. Well it seems Bruce Waldack
who owned Digital Nation cashed in for $100M to Verio! Wow!

There is still a First Class newsgroup
groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=alt.bbs.first-class

this link will be too long but here is a list of the first BBSs that were
TCP/IP using this software and you can see us both
groups.google.com/groups?q=California+Lip+Service+group:alt.bbs.first-c
lass&hl=en&selm=cfraser-2703951111140001%40cf.mayatech.com&rnum=3

You would generally market your BBS on AOL. You would upload the custom client
and hundreds of folks would download them and cruise to your site on a phone
line or telnet. At the time, the software was slick...just like AOL while DOS
BBSs were still damn fugly. Full email, usenet, chat, files, and boards...but
no way to leave the system and browse teh web with a browser. They wer so close
to having a great Dial Up Internet system, but they just never saw the light
and kept it a closed system.

I used to hang out at this Goth spot called CyberDen and then a guy used to
write me who started Digital Domination ...a spanking BBS. Ah the good old
days. Never made any money off it but sure was a pioneering good time. :) I
think the software is still around and some offices use it as an email server.
It used to compete with Lotus Notes. Seems like a funny way of running email at
this stage.

$70,000 GROSS IN 2 MONTHS AT AMAZONSCAN.COM
Tara sent in this story and I did not even believe it until I read it
www.wired.com/news/culture/0,1284,50807,00.html

The guy who started FUCKEDCOMPANY.COM has made grossed $70k in 2 months with
the amazon affiliate program. I figure the average commish is about 7%, so he
is doing $2500 or mor a month with them. Not bad at all. I have to say that
with his traffic, there are probably better ways he could make money since from
my testing, the low commish rates at amazon made for a slow income stream...but
he seems to have made a solid niche.

LEGAL CHILD PORN UNDER FIRE from SignGuy
Here is a story that is now on every news station. I have covered this issue
last year but it was those non nude teen sites. My guess is that we may see
very interesting legal battles shortly with regard to such sites. The sites
have stuped to new lows with pre teen non nude sites such as 'Little Amber'.
These sites might even remind some of Jean Bennet
www.msnbc.com/news/730491.asp?pne=msn&cp1=1

There are some tough questions raised and I do not know the answers
1. Is it illegal to think illegal thoughts?
2. Is it legal to present legal pictures when clearly they are marketed to
pedophiles for illegal purposes?
3. At what age is girl a woman?
4. If this is a crime, what should penalties be?

Again, I don't have any answers. These are very tough questions.

AWESOME COMMENTS ON TGPs from Blacula
Blacula showed me on of his posts on adult webmaster info. I tend to agree 100%
with him on this issue and I asked if I could reprint his excellent comments.
bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=0
14029;p=4

I have read through the whole thread, and I have been in the biz for over 3
years and to be quite honest, I don't claim to know everything about the biz
but I think a few of you missed the point of free porn. It is to get the surfer
interested in what you are selling; it is the classic bait and switch. Nothing
more, nothing less.

Let me explain it the way I see it and you can make your personal judgement
from there.

TGP - Yes, the bigger ones are getting pickier with what they accept. They have
all rights to -- if you had to review 1000-1500 galleries per day and only
accept 100-200 galleries -- you would lessen the playing field by making
stricter rules and use scripts to filter out the garbage. Second, TGP's are
traffic pumps; they build bookmark traffic and trade traffic with other. For
the owner it is like running a free newspaper; very simple business model -
they build readers by giving quality articles for free and pay for their
printing and employees by charging for advertising space. If you haven't
noticed, but alot of the larger tgps are doing exactly this.

Good thing about all this, their are a large number of smaller tgps with
quality traffic and are willing to accept the lesser quality galleries -- you
just have to spend the time to find them -- so, submitting to thehun, al4a,
thumbzilla or pk shouldn't be your only option.

TGP2 - Yes, there is money in those hills for the time being. BUT just like
TGP's they will not last for long. Once more TGP2's popup and more ppl submit
galleries on a daily basis, TGP2 owners will be forced to make stricter rules
which will limit gallery submitters' bottom line. The only thing that is
working for TGP2 owners and submitters at the moment is the low numbers. Once
the number of daily TGP2 daily submissions get to a point that is unbareable to
review on a daily basis, TGP2 owners will start to cut the low quality
galleries in hopes of getting more bookmarkers and wasting less time.

TGP/TGP2 Galleries -- I have always viewed this a frontend to one of my other
sites -- NOT -- my once and only time I try to advertise to a sponsor -- and to
be quite honest, 99% of the galleries I review are just that -- an advertising
to one sponsor and that is it -- whatever happen to using the traffic to build
other types of traffic -- ie. topsites, banner exchanges, surfer traps, cj's,
and so on -- yes, you cannot use them on the page directly but happened to
using fpads and placing the links there?

AVS -- now, they have begun to be as picky as most large tgp's -- I can tell
you first hand; last month all my avs sites got pulled from cyberage because i
put my pics on html pages --- and most avs's will not allow you to use
templates or limit the number of links you can have per page -- as a traffic
source it has became harder BUT they are and will continue being a good idea to
build

CJ/CJ2 -- this is a hard subject for me but I can tell you that alot of the
bigger CJ/CJ2's are well designed/well thought out sites -- not shitty half ass
sites

what does all this mean, I believe the money is there and will continue to be
there BUT the apple is going to harder to reach. Quality sites and better
traffic management is going to be needed to stay in the biz. TGP's are just one
piece of the whole thing and should be viewed as traffic pumps to the owners
and gallerymakers -- not as a sole source of income -- if the only thing you
have to offer on your gallery is 15 pictures and a few links to a sponsor --
no, you are not going to make any money. And to all of you that believe TGP's
have more content than paysites then you need to join a few paysites (and I am
not saying this to be an ass, they have more to offer than just pics and you
should be telling your surfers this vs selling them on 500k pics)

THE CRYING ABOUT TGPs from guru-O-gif
There has ALWAYS been free porn. There will ALWAYS be free porn on the
internet. Usenet aka newsgroups, have been around since the dawn of time. On
AOL, you can access newsgroups, just like you can find TGPs. Crying about TGPs
is like me crying that everyone found out how to spam search engines. There are
some foks doing grossing 7 figures a year playing TGPs so you cannot tell me
that the traffic is worthless. TGPs are not killing porn since newbies don't
know what a TGP is and then don't know what a USENET is. Site tours have FREE
porn. The reasons that TGPs are so proliferic right now is, they are making
webmasters money. There is no other way around it....they work for many. If you
enjoy crying and complaining about your declining porn income, then keep it up.
I have seen porn change 5-8 times in the last 5 years. If you hate TGPs, just
wait until something new comes around the corner and makes you even more mad.
The people I know that have been successful in the adult marketplace, continue
to evolve as it does. The webmasters I know that had one skill, made money for
a year or so and then tossed in a towel since they were unable to evolve as
times change.

If TGP sites are robbing you blind, then I ask you "Why the hell have you not
started one?" Many sites don't even run scripts...they do them by hand so you
can't tell me that the technology is too hard.

In any competition, you can complain to the ref, or you can get with the
program and do what the other team is doing. If you are not interested in
TGPs...fine, but to blaim them for a declining income in a shrinking mature
industry with 500,000 competitors is foolhardy.

SEX IS OUT AND WEB COMMERCE IN - SEARCH TRENDS from Charles + Jerry
ist.psu.edu/news/CurrentNewsDisplay.cfm?HeadlineID=97
www.msnbc.com/news/732351.asp?cp1=1

Several people emailed in this article and I actually see it as a very good
sign from a cultural perspective, although it is not as good of a sign from a
porn business perspective. I remember reading an article on Larry Flint and he
said something like he hoped to make porn normal in the west. He said when you
show a student a porn magazine in amsterdam, the reaction is one of "boredom".
They have porn movies on TV at 10pm at night with commercials! Why don't we? We
don't because we have lived for hundreds of years under sex supression and the
internet is liberated sex and nudity. I believe sex is becoming mainstream. I
see this as only health for western countries since we have been so uptight for
so long.

DO WEB ADS WORK? from SignGuy
www.msnbc.com/news/730950.asp?cp1=1

SignGuy sent in this areticle above. I am glad that ads are finally getting
respect, but I am still pulling my hair out because of the cluelessness of the
mainstream press and ad buying and selling communities.

Do banner ads work? Hell! They have always worked...drop by porn and find out.

Why do mainstream companies feel they do not work? There are several reasons
and the simplest one is ...mainstream ads were WAY overpriced. As long as you
can purchase ads at a price point where you are netting income, then they work!

Do these new flashy big goofy flash ads work? SURE but...put a 500x500 pixel
banner on any page and it will work too! 468x60 is now to small and you have to
HAMMER surfers in the head to get them to click and porn folks know this.
Hammer them with a million banners of hammer them with large banners. I still
see no need for flash based java trickery. The bis test would be to compare
large animated gifs and their click rates to these newer ads and my guess is
that the click rates will be very similar.

JAVA REDIRECT BASED ON INCOMING AND TIMED POP from Brien

I'm looking for a java scipt that will redirect incoming traffic based on where
it's coming from and also a timed pop up java script. I know I can find them at
trixscripts.com but I've read that you don't recommend them anymore do to
hidden code. any ideas or where I can find them free if possible? I was kinda
wanting a script that redirects based on what url they were coming into the
site from.

NON ENGLISH LANGUAGE BROWSER REDIRECT SCRIPT from Spanno
Spano writes
do you want a trick I can't think of any really good ones but here is a
javascript I wrote that will do traffic filterring, this one just redirects
anything non "EN" / english language browsers - good from sending foreign
traffic to a dialer or something and its javascript so all the processing is
client side and you don't need cgi / php you can just paste it in any page

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"><!--
if (!navigator.language.indexOf("en"))
{
top.window.location=('dialer.com/');
}
// --></SCRIPT>

TIMED JAVA CONSOLE PUP-UP by Mike
Mike emailed me this great java trick that many people have asked about. Here
is a java window that travels with a visitor and then opens at timed intervals
rather than automatically. This is some really neat code. Mike writes:

I believe this came up a few issues ago. I wasn't going to tell anyone
how to do this because I detest sites that generate annoying windows,
but my mate Paul at Garcia Brothers waited til I was drunk before
asking me and I agreed (I was so far gone I actually bought my own
adult site the next day - aaargh - now I've got to build the damn
thing).

Basic Problem
Get a URL to open N seconds after leaving a site, so the newly visited
site gets the blame.

Solution
Explained and demonstrated at
adultaudiovisual.com/webmasters/delayedpopup.html and it's
companion page "delayedpopup-explain.html". You're free to use these
pages in part of in full in your sexswap newsletter if you want to.

All solutions to this problem rely to some extent on keeping a console
open while the delayed-action command takes effect, so the problem
should really say "after APPEARING to leave the site". Much more
sophisticated variants are also possible. For example, my first
solution opened ten distinct windows at 30 second intervals (but the
adult world isn't ready, honest). The key is the JavaScript function
"setTimeout" which lets you issue a command after a specified number
of milliseconds.

I've tried linking this to the standard "onUnload" event handler which
launches a function when you leave a web page (this would avoid having
the original console hanging around in the background), but they don't
seem to work together very reliably in practice (no idea why not), so
I invented another way of doing it.

The basic function definition (this goes in the <head></head> section
of the page) is

<script language="JavaScript"><!--
function jump_to( target, delay, realtarget ) {
var param = "window.open('" + realtarget + "','_self');";
window.setTimeout( param, delay*1000 );
window.open(target,'_blank');
return false;
}
// -->
</script>

and you call it like this

<a href=target
onClick="return jump_to(target,delay,delayed_target);">Click here</a>

You include "target" twice (once in the call to do_jump and once in
the "href=" bit) so that visitors with JavaScript turned off can still
access the link properly. If their JavaScript is turned on, the
"return false" ensures that the "href=" bit is ignored and only the
do_jump() call matters.

For example:

<a href="noisefactory.co.uk"
onClick="return
do_jump('noisefactory.co.uk',30,'www.garciabrothers.com'
);">
Visit NoiseFactory</a>

This jumps to NoiseFactory when clicked, but leaves the original
window open in the background. After 30 seconds the contents of that
window are replaced by the Garcia Brothers site.

There are umpteen variants. For example, hitting the "Back" button at
Garcia in this example will take you back to the offending page, but
it can be arranged that all trace of the page with the script on it is
lost before they have a chance to see who's responsible for the extra
window(s).

CORRECTION ---
That timed popup thingie...

There's going to be some confused readers out there. I defined the
function as "jump_to" but in the explanation of what's going on and
the example I started calling it "do_jump" instead.

apparently they're still not smart enough to figure out how to direct that
traffic to the site they're trying to keep alive.

EMAIL -> ASCII HTML TO CC BCC from Charles
Charles writes
I am with you 1000% on the ascii email messages. I may have been
online too long, but for me email messages are for those that
have something to say rather than a work of art.

For the most part an html message is either from a total newbie
or someone that had bulked up their "message" with a bunch of
advertising. In either case I have better things to do than sort
through the bulk of an html message even though I could view the
message in html. By the way, I have been using Agent since the
beta .99a release. The only other email client I want any part
of is Pegasas (www.pmail.com), which is even older than
Agent. Pegasas is probably a better email client than Agent, and
Pegasas is much much better than Outlook, Outlook Express, or
Eudora Mail.

On the topic of email there is one other thing that bugs me even
more than an html message. How many times have you received
email messages from newbies (other uninformed users) that
includes a laundry list of 15, 25, 50, or more email addresses on
the "To:" line? How about messages with that long laundry list
of email addresses on the "Cc:" line? The worst is the newbie
that forwards a joke that has already been forwarded five or six
times with the entire laundry list of email addresses strung out
before you actually get to the joke.

When I receive such messages from someone that I might want to
retain as a friend I break the news that they can address their
email messages much more efficiently by using the "Bcc:" option.
I always add that not only will recipients not have to scroll
through a laundry list of other email addresses but also they
will be presereving the privacy of the recipient's email

someone that wants to collect those email addresses for the

COMPARING SPONSORS from jspr
Jspr writes
Once again to much time have passed where I week after week have enjoyed your
kick ass news letter without taking the time to give a little back at you ...
so as always when I write I feel obligated to start with a big: THANK YOU!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Bet you sometimes go to bed wishing you had never started the whole pay site
math thing ;) Well worry not, my 2 cents are water rather than fuel to the
fire. The debate so far has been a valuable and needed exercise for all pay
site owners. But for all of us who have chosen not to run pay sites (or have
not yet come to the point where that is a logical option) the debate has become
too technical to really matter. As a webmaster who concentrate my efforts on
generating traffic to sell to pay site owners the math I use to compare program
A, B and Z is so simple it's almost stupid. The formula I use to compare
different programs doesn't try to figure out if recurring, per sign up or click
is better, it totally ignores numbers like signup ratio or how different
programs count raw VS unique hits and it can't even be bothered to decide if
$40 per sign up is more than $30 or 60% is more than 50% ... Because all these
numbers are really just a confusing smoke screen to keep ones eyes away from
the number that matters most - actually the only number that matters. I'm not
sure if a formula can consist of only ONE number (guessing it can not) ... but
my paysite comparing formula is only one number ... and here it is (tadahhh):

Total $XXX
It may also appear as: "Revenue this Period: $ XXX" or "Total Commissions $XXX"
or something else. If you are confused - THIS IS THE NUMBER ON THE CHECK YOU
RECIEVE ... the number that decides the size of your car man.

My point being: Sponsor A may pay $45 per sign up and sponsor B pay $25, but if
you (with the same traffic) make $350 with B and $225 with A - then B pays more
than A. (period). I could go on and compare a 60% recurring with a 50%
recurring or a $30 per signup with a $0.005 per raw, but I believe I made the
point clear by now: The only way to compare programs A, B, C ... & Z is to test
test and test them and see how much money you make. Of course you cannot ignore
the differences in method, if you for instance compare a per signup with a
recurring you need to wait the mysterious average stay period for the recurring
to level out before you compare. And also, the more hits you send the clearer
the picture you get.

Enough babble for now ... I threw together a little script to compare 2
programs with the same traffic (you can post in you letter if you wish). Place
the two sponsor urls in "$sponsor_a" and "$sponsor_b" and make a text link (or
something) to the script. It will then send 50% of the traffic to each link.
You can use it to share traffic between sponsors - the "$split" value decides
how many percent goes to sponsor a.

#!/usr/bin/perl
# script © 2002 Jesper Birk

$sponsor_a = "link_to sponsor_A";
$sponsor_b = "link_to sponsor_B";

$split = 50;

$a = rand(100);
if ($a < $split) {
print "Location: $sponsor_a", "\n\n";
} else {
print "Location: $sponsor_b", "\n\n";
}
exit;

MORE SPECULATION ON GOTO NAME CHANGE from Dino
Dino writes
I think I can shed a little more light on the whole Goto debocal. I read one of
the atricles you included this week and I read a little past why they changed
their name. I found their stock sybol so I decided to see how they were doing
and how they have done since the name change. Back in late 1999 Goto's stock
hit a high at about $115 a share. By early 2001 it had droped almost 87% to
$15 a share. This is all durring a bull market. Anything that was gaining
dramaticlly was considered a failure. Well a few months later (OCT) goto
changed it's name. It also changed it's stock symbol. By January 2002 it was
at about $45/share. Not nearly close to the 110, but %300 of what it had been
five months before. Since then the stock has droped down to $30, but thats
still 200% of what they left at goto.

You need to remember that these big dot coms aren't making their money throught
what their selling or their advertising. Amazon turned a profit for the first
time a couple of months ago. The reason why they survive is because of the
stocks. People are pouring in the money and they are glad to take it. So my
reason for the name change. Money. The people running Goto have a lot of
stock. They don't really get paid that much. Bill gates only gets a salary of
about 1,000,000 from microsoft, but he's the riches person in the world because
of his stocks. So when the stock droped the goto guys decided to take cuts in
profit of the compony, for a new name to hide under in wall street. It sees to
have kinda worked.

this would be a good way for a dot com high flier to shed its image and start

YOU DON'T HAVE TO OWN A PAYSITE from Jspr and guru-O-gif
jspr writes:
I almost went down that road about one year ago - because it seemed like the
natural way to go... to the top of the food chain. Back then I made a spread
sheet to calculate different scenarios (how many members would I need to make
per day to make profit if the average stay was X and running cost was Y?) ...
So I came up with something that looked like your formula - except I missed the
point that you hade to look at it as a closed circuit and the fade in at the
beginning is also a the fade out at the end - That one was a real eye opener
for me as my best logic told me recurring should make more $ that per sign ...
but the numbers didn't agree with my logic. Anyway (to the point), now I'm so
glad I stayed with what I'm good at and didn't go for pay sites as I really
hate creating anything that gives me a steady (updating) job. I love the idea
that I can take a 2 month vacation if I want and my whole biz runs on auto
pilot and the only thing I neglect is putting new ships in the water.

guru-O-gif writes:
I tend to very much agree. I tried paysites long ago and they just weren't for
me. I know they are the cornerstone of the indsutry, but I think many people
think they are the cat's pajamma's when there are some other great less
travelled roads.

I see a few drawbacks to paysites and some of them you have already mentioned

1. You have to really care about your customers
I hated this because "I do care"...if my server was down 30 seconds, I was
having fits because these people PAID ME for a service. If the server went down
at all, I just felt horrible and would not sleep well. The means you never get
a holiday. If you just hunt traffic and send it to affiliates...it is far less
work and stress. If my sites go down...I lose money...no one else. So I can
take a week off if I want to and no one is hurt but me.

2. The laws of economics are such that I believe you can actually make more
money by NOT having a pay site.
Here is an example. If a paysite owner makes $70 per sign up GROSS, he might
net $50 (I am making these numbers up). He know has decisions to make. He only
has X amount of traffic. If he pays people to send him sign ups, he can then
take a smaller amount, but do better because of volume. He could in fact, pay
$40 and still make $10 net. He has very little to do but manage the program and
so he can pay out a greater number than he is already making. This means that
by paying $40 and keeping $10, you the person sending the traffic make MORE
than the affiliate program in terms of NET.

Now it is true that you would make $50 net if it was your own site...but for
$10 less, I prefer FAR less headaches.

3. Paysites are continuous work
Customer service, billing issues, webmasters issues, content issues, hosting
issues and more. There are other ways to work in the adult industry that can be
less work.

This is why I was glad that I sold my paysite long ago and pursued other
projects like this banner exchange. It was actually created to feed traffic to
my paysite but then took on a life of its own. Paysites CAN and DO make big
coin..but there are other people in this industry also doing very well by
choosing other models. Here are some examples
1. Hosting
2. Content
3. TGP site
4. Banner Exchange
5. Napster Cloan
6. Webmaster Portal
7. Porn Star
8. Free Host
9. Webmaster
10. Programmer
11. AVS program
12. Counter
13. Script Archives
14. Trade Show Promotion

jspr writes
re: paysite 24/7
I actually haven't thought of this aspect, but it is so true. The product you
are selling must be online 24/7 and you must be able to handle costumer support
on a daily basis = you can never take a vacation or you must hire a staff to
run the shit ... and either one is a mild form of slavery. On the other hand; I
have a "free membership" type site with a large number of active members and
quite enjoy having this one place where traffic becomes real people who gives
real feedback (mostly positive). But then people are not paying for access so I
don't get death threats if it's offline.

jspr writes
re: affiliate payout levels
I'm sure you are right. Seems like the number of paysites have exploded over
the last year or so and with it the competition betweens sponsor have gone
wild. Actually I believe many sites don't even make $10 - some may make $0.
With so harsh competition it would make sense for some to use that $10 to
outbid their competitors and get so much traffic and so many members that they
can make their money from exit traffic and upsell. Yes, it all makes so much
sense if we stop saying "this sponsor pays me $40
per membership" and start saying "I pay this company $10 to do the BS job
of providing a site for my members" :)

QUESTION - HOW CAN I RUN IBILL AND CCBILL CONCURRENTLY? from Phil
Phil asks
do you know how or where I can find out how to have Ccbill and Ibill working
concurrently for billing and Usrid/Pass access to my member's area? I notice a
few sites have that now. How do they protect their members area with just one
.htaccess file that is OK with both Ccbill and Ibill? or do they have mirror
members areas or other tricks? I have spent the day hunting around message
boards and webmaster resource sites but come up with zilch.

andy writes
well I don't know the answer to Phil's questions so I thought I would throw it
out to the crowd and see what ideas and solutions people are using

1. Can you use the two programs on one sign up form?

2. What are some of the ways of doing it?

3. What are the things you need to watch out for?

please email me if you have any or all of these answers and wish to share them
with webmasters in next weeks newsletter =) thanks andy@lips.com

THE NASTY NEWS
www.nastydollars.com/

I LIKE BIG TITS AND I CAN NOT LIE - THESE REASONS I TELL YOU WHY
I am still sending the majority of my traffic and the reasons are simple

1. SIGNUP RATIO - In my testing, I am getting the best sign-up ratio with their
sites, especially Big Naturals

2. PER SIGNUP - You know I love getting cash on the barrel head and up front.

3. $35 PER SIGNUP - I especially like Nasty Dollars since they pay $35 per sign
up every 2 weeks. If you can swing 15 sign-ups a day, you get $40 per sign-up
and that is some damn fine coinage.

with per sign up programs, you can test your traffic and know how things are
going to go in 1-2 days. If you are looking for a new affiliate program to try,
I highly recommend NASTY DOLLARS with Robert and Ernesto.

MILF HUNTER NOW OPEN
I think I am addicted to this site =) The babes are older and sexier and a
little rogh around the edges
milfhunter.com/

The lads at NASTY are telling me that MILF is blowing the LID OFF THE POPPER
and their testing is showing it to have an awesome signup ratio. MILF is
another good reason to give NASTY a try at this time. I recommend testing Big
Naturals and MILF and see which one works for your style of hits.

one more thing

$100 PER ACTIVE WEBMASTER REFERAL

yep. How is that for fist full of dollars. Send webmasters to NASTY and you get
$100 per active. AND, I am not getting that $100 by tell you this =) Here is
just the regular link code, my affiliate string is not attached...I just
believe in the their program and like working with these guys.
