3 Busy Guy Plumbing, we're BUSY BUSY BUSY. What a week! Karl handed over the keys to the big ship 2 days ago and I am in command of the S.S. Sexswap once again. This week has been a huge team effort from Daniel, Gus, Gary, Karl and more. First things first...Welcome to all new readers of SexSwap News! I bet your asking yourself "Why the hell did I sign up for this dribble...is this kat talking Chinese or did he take the small bus to school?". Hee hee haaa. Quick explanation for new readers
1997 -> Created SexSwap with Gus the programmer
1999 -> Sold SexSwap to King Karl of Gamma Ent
1999 -> Hired to continue writing newsletter
2002 -> New deal to write newsletter and return to managing the site

And so now I babble every week, chase the crooks, help upload banners, and aim traffic here and there. I am not sure if any of this makes sense...most readers get used to it =)

NEW EMAIL JOIN FORM - YIPPEEEE
after 1,374 years, yes, we have the infamous JOIN form. Anyone with a keyboard and a screen (maybe you use voice recognition and then scratch the keyboard) can now get the 'almost weekly' sexswap news delivered to their doorstep. The newsletter is not just for banner exchange members anymore. Let me unveil the curtains and reveal.....gasp
trix.sexswap.com/email_join.html

Ta Da! I want to thank Karl and his programmers for working hard on getting this finished. There is far more here than meets the eye. They creted an entire PHP newsletter management system and database that make adding and removes and sending much simpler. I am also shocked that already the join form is up to 20 joins a day! I should of done this 23 years ago. Now, for those of you programming purist that do not want any flash, here is the ultra secret pure small join form that no one knows about but me and Karl

Again Welcome! to all new readers. I hope you are entertained and get some fresh ideas.

WHY AM I SO BUSY?
I'll tell you why...freaking scum sucking CROOKS! First day back on the job and we get a DEF CON 5 situation. Easily the worst crook attack in a year. The guy is not even a smart programmer because he is not getting any credits...just pounding the database into smithereines. Here is a MRTG graph for your amusement. Check the second graph from the top and see how the blue line shoots way off the green base....if this was a fish finder...it means you got a whale on your hook
trix.sexswap.com/crooks.gif

Gary, Dan, Karl, Gus and the whole crew have been working around the problem. At the peak, he was hammering 2.5mb a second. The good thing is that we are excited to see that the sexswap database can take 2.5mb a second =) But Hell! left unchecked and that is a $2000 bandwidth bill. This programmer, has several pages, that span console...thousands of console....evil consoles. I went their and the consoles are so fierce that he changed my home page...."that's nothing" you say. Well he changed it so that when you go to click TOOLS to get to 'Internet Options', you get a message "the admin will not allow access to this area". These fuckers hacked my registry so I can't even get into IE to alter the damn home page. Now that is low. I did find a site that helped me repair the problem but imagine all the regular folks that end up in this quicksand site...they might never get it fixed. Here is a great site for getting UN HIJACKED

NASTY DOLLARS KICKS ASS
www.nastydollars.com/

One of the first things I did while back on the job, is my famous "accuse an innocent site of being a crook". Yep, every 6 months or so I make this foolish error and I feel like "King Of All Dumbasses". Fortunately Ernesto and Robert didn't kill me with a shotgun. These lads ICQd me and then we chatted on the phone for an hour. I want to again apologize to them for my foolish error. I also want to tell you about their cash affliate program. Like most lads, even though I am in porn, I still enjoy the hunt for free pics. Well on one hunt, I found all these pics of regular babes with great looking, big real boobs. It might of been a TGP post. Well the site leads back to one of their pay sites called BIGNATURALS.COM ...I love this site =)
www.bignaturals.com/main.htm?id=

Ernesto and Robert pay out $35 a sign up and 40 if you can average, I think it is 15 a day. I have been sending them traffic for 3 days now and each day I keep doing better and better. One site of theirs that has really been converting at an astonishing rate is their gay site BOYSFIRSTTIME.COM This has to be one of the best gay conversion rates that I have ever seen.

If you are looking for a new affiliate program to try out, I suggest you give them a try. They answer all emails and ICQs fast and they have given me several excellent conversion tips along the way.

it is interesting in the interview that you can see what they are doing. 2,000,000 impressions a day. Well divide by 1000 and X $5 and you get $10,000 a day or about a $4M a year gross company.

Guru-O-Gif writes
Great find and I have to agree. Here are some interesting things to consider

EMPLOYEES
moneycentral.msn.com/investor/research/profile.asp?Symbol=FLWS
total number = 2400

SALES
in the article from ecommerce times it states: 1.1 million new customers placed orders with the company during the second quarter, and approximately 420,000 of those new customers were online shoppers

What does this mean in terms of math? That is 420,000 unique hits in a quarter. That is 420,000 unique hits in 3 months or 90 days. Let's get out the slide rule and see that that is a huge WHOPPING, mega sized, SERVER OVERLOAD of 4,667 unique hits a day. OK, let me give them the benefit of a doubt...let's say they got 5000 unique hits a day. Woa Momma! Hold the phone, I better order up that SPARC2 server farm cause I need horse power. this site could serviously be run on 1 P4 unix box, but lets say they need three..a backup and a DB server. How much bandwidth does 4000 hits a day cost? You could run that on a T1 or less...cake.

So far, I think I have found a need for a web designer, maybe 3 folks to handle those 3 swamped web servers, and a you of course need order fullfilment....I think a person could fill 20 orders a day....easy. that is 250. So what the hell are the other 2250 people doing? There are porn sites doing 1M uniques a day with 20 people on staff or less. This should be all fat margin sales.

HOW TO FIX
fire 2000 employees at 1800 flowers. OK, maybe they are in the retail division. fire 50% of the internet division today and make people work and become more efficient. I think both amazon and 1800 got caught in the dot com craze and were sucked in...but they do have the power and cashflow to dig out if they continue to cut costs and waste.

5000 uniques a day...hee hee haa. Get me an OC12 and I am going to need a server farm the size of west vriginia. Call ever UNIX guru from here to the mississippi...we need help...our CPU is melting! We are BUSY...5000 hits...the DB can't handle...get SUN on the phone...we need technicians ASAP.

TALK TO A LAWYER TO BE SAFE from Jason
Jason offers some good advice on some previous stories and on any story that is fishy or iffy or crosses you line of good taste, always ask a lawyer if you are not sure

Jason writes
re: aol chat bots. NOT experienced in this area, however, so you may want to talk to an adult webmaster lawyer, but I bet these are VERY ILLEGAL. I bet you could get the SHIT sued out of you if AOL wanted too. Again, I'm not practicing and not familiar with this area of law, but its something you should probably ask a couple people you know to see if it may be illegal so you can warn your readers before they go bot crazy! What i m saying is it would help if you let it be known that the legalities of the bots is MURKY before you post messages about them, and anyone before trying them should get legal advice to see if its legal.

PAY PER CLICK FREE TRACKING SCRIPT from Delay
Delay writes:
I have a free script for your newsletter. It basically allows you to keep track of your profit and loss for payperclick engines and other paid forms of advertising that a webmaster might want to keep track of. I made it for our own use and thought maybe some of your readers might find it useful. I hope people buying advertising are keeping track of their numbers so they don't artificially inflate the worth of some PPC engines and other banner spots. Buying ads and links on PPC can be a way to generate some money but you have to pay close attention to the bottom line...Maybe this script will help a few webmasters who aren't already keeping track of their spending.

It requires php and mysql... Anyway any one who wants it can download it here free and test it out.
www.vrmatrix.com/ppcprofit/ppcprofit.html

I figure this is the easiest way to get it since sending it in the newsletter might mess up the formatting. I kind of have selfish reasons for giving it away. I want everyone to really track their costs so terms aren't bid up impossibly high. Many of the ppc engines have bids so high I see no way for the one purchasing the terms to make a profit. If anyone has trouble installing it they can email me:

Now it is fuctional:) I noticed that you wrote about media player streaming pop-ups last week. I think that branding and impressions in the stream would be more user friendly(Just worthless right?). HOW DO I SETUP A USENET NEWS SERVER? from Cynthia
Cynthia writes
What do you know about setting up news servers? More specifically, what you know about sites like easynews.com, pictureview.com, GUBA.com and all of the other assorted binaries archive sites? I've been kicking an idea around: I have a membership site that does really well. My only problem is TIME (as you noted in your last newsletter - eh-heh). I'm thinking I could pull in a binaries group for the niche that my site specializes and have a nice fresh bunch of pics every day. With a hands-off influx of fresh material each day, I can see my already steady retention going stellar.

Guru-O-Gif writes
I set one up long ago. It is a little tricky. I would say easier than a mail server though :) I have lots of info for you.... many have thought about this..one drawback is that you could be a target of copyright infringement. Check with lawyers

Cynthia writes
I've actually seen other sites that use this tactic, but they're all closemouthed about where they got their software, etc. (of course - who blame them) and I can't find anything. It doesn't help that I'm not an expert in this field so the learning curve is super steep for me. Do you know anything about this?

Guru-O-Gif writes
back in the day =) the reason I wanted to start a usenet server, was to spam the shit out of it and not take flack...since I would be the host of the server. I tried it for a little while but I was a young mac man way back then, and had no PC experience and the project became too hard to manage and I was pestering Dayne every 3 minutes to try and keep the server running. I do know that other have done this exactly, and spammed the hell out of it, but you still catch heat and filters. Some have even tried to sell membership to adult webmasters to use their server for ad purposes. These generally fail quickly do to over spam.

Your application has none of these risks since you see it as a service of additional content. The big dog of news servers used to be DNEWS. This is like the apache of news servers. I believe DNEWS is writtend for every OS under the sun at this point and always gets 5 star reviews. It is a bit of a learning curve as you stated. There is some support and newsgroups and an email list now which would totally help for support.
netwinsite.com/dnews.htm

Now, that is half the battle. You need the server software to run a newsfeed. DNEWS even allows you to set if up like hotmail which works great for a porn site. You still might have to teach your users how to convert the binary crud to pics since binaries are endcoded..I believe GUBA and others do that for them. Here is where you either have to hire a custom programmer, or educate your users on using a news client to convert etc. Maybe DNEWS does this now, I tend to doubt it.

The last half of the mystery is "where do I get the news?" You need to have an upstream news provider. There are two styles of feeds. I remember one is called a sucking feed and I forget the other. You have to find sites that resell news. I did a whole article on this long ago...let me see if I can dig it up. Here is an old page "Where can I suck from" and I see many of the links are dead
www.buller.se/DNews/feeds.htm
they call them sucking and traditional feeds

Here is how to set up your sucking feed
netwinsite.com/dnews/feedsin.htm

Ah Ha! A new page...Where can I get a sucking or traditional feed!
netwinsite.com/feeds.htm

and there you have it :) This should get your started. Setting up a news server is about the same, maybe a little easier than an apache server and 10 times easier than setting up sendmail :)

AN ATTEMPT AT INSTALLING SENDMAIL by Guru-O-Gif
with much hand holding from Craig the Programmer

I will say that there is not a more painful install that I have encountered over the year that the dreaded sendmail. It is nasty. It wants certain permissions to be perfect and certain files or directories need to exist. Once it is running, it is great, but man...I don't think I could install this in a million years! I know, you are going to hit me with mail like "use qmail, use postfix etc". Sure, but the grand daddy is Sendmail :) Craig helped me install it. I tried to take as many notes as possible...this may get you at least started if you want to give it a whirl. Aye carrumba is all I have to say.

ftp://ftp.sendmail.org/pub/sendmail/sendmail.8.12.2.tar.gz

1. do a groupadd smmsp

2. adduser smmsp with that same group smmsp and shell being /bin/false (for extra security)

3. cd into cf/cf in the sendmail directory example
cd /var/lib/sendmail-8.12.2/cf/cf

4. open in vi or other editor the file generic-linux.mc
this means we are going to have to compile it. some folks would choose the file generic-linux.cf which is pre done but will be less flexible

5. add some lines to generic-linux.mc
under DOMAIN add these lines (those are single left and right quotes, and they may not be necessary)
FEATURE(`virtusertable',`has /etc/mail/virtusertable')dnl
FEATURE(`access_db')dnl

and save this as a new name called sendmail.mc

6. I had to make some directories that did not exist since I did a new install
mkdir /etc/mail
mkdir /var/spool/mqueue

7. While still in this directory run the following command
sh Build install.cf
then
sh Build install-cf

yes, that install-cf does NOT match the install.cf, since one is dash and other period

8/ no go from the big sendmail directory into the one inside it
cd /var/lib/sendmail-8.12.2/sendmail

9/ go back out a directory to main one
cd ..

10/ now go into makemap directory
cd makemap

11/ sh Build install

14/ cd /etc/mail

15/ create a file called virtusertable (virtual user table) with some emails on the left side and a user account on the right and save it
vi virtusertable
andy@lips.com bigbubba
andy@pokerlads.com jimmy

16/ now issue a voodoo command
makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable </etc/mail/virtusertable
makemap hash /etc/mail/access </etc/mail/access

things get very foggy from here on in

17/ maybe create some missing files
touch aliases
touch local-host-names

chown smmsp mailertable
chown smmsp domaintable
chown smmsp aliases
chown - R smmsp /etc/mail

18/ at this point we hit some snags and Craig reached into his black sack of tricks and issued these all powerful commands...use with caution as they can explode
chmod go-w / /etc /etc/mail /usr /var /var/spool
chown root / /etc /etc/mail /usr /var /var/spool
mkdir /var/spool/mqueue

19/ now at this point, I imagine you are cursing so you might want to hire craig for some tech support =)
2bunnyhop@rogers.com

20/ you can test and then fire it up
test
/usr/sbin/sendmail -bt
You'll see errors when you launch this if there's any permission or file problems
Once in type
$=w

That'll display a list of domains currently usable for sendmail (receipt of mail)....if a domain is missing make sure you add it to the local-host-names file Then type
/map virtuser andy@pokerlads.com
(or whatever email address you want to check) You should get a response similar to map_lookup: virtuser (andy@pokerlads.com) returns andy (0) f everything is correct

then fire it up
/usr/sbin/sendmail -bd

now there are some sites to get help...try the sendmail newsgroup
groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=comp.mail.sendmail

and there is a faq
www.sendmail.org/faq/

and there is a book
www.oreilly.com/catalog/sendmail2/

I don't think my instructions will have you running, but they will get you close :) I will try some installs on my own in the future and update this accordingly as I do my apache, mysql, php install chart.

SHOULD I START TO SPAM? from Jerry
Jerry writes
I was told by a big player in the biz (real BIG)....That I should start to spam. He told me everyone does it and thats how alot got started. I wanted to know your opion on that.

Guru-O-Gif writes
Well I need to clarify a few points. There are different types of spam. Traditional spam is email, but I also called "spamming the search engines" and spamming newsgroups spam as well. I will assume you mean email. 9/10 I will tell you DO NOT SPAM EMAIL. There are so many bad things that happen. Have I spammed email? Yes, long ago, and not for very long

1. you will get death threats...honestly. I have never seen people more mad.

2. you will risk losing your ISP. these crazy made people will do everything in their power to get your ISP to shut you down and some will even try to get your ISP shut down.

3. you can get sued. several porn sites have been sued by AOL...it is not a laughing matter. They sued the crap out of sanford wallace long ago.

4. it is a one time hit. this is the biggest problem. Email has a 3 day effect. This means that you then would have to spam every 2 days. Spamming every two days is like playing russian roulette every 2 days. You might get away with it once or twice but you will not get away with it in the long run

5. besides being sued, you might also face criminal charges if you hit a kid with a porn ad. This has no happened ever to the best of my knowledge but it could.

there is so much pain that it is not worth the gain. Yes email spam works but it is really so painful. now, what is the 1/10 times I would do it. I would email spam if I was promoting a new affiliate program or somethng like that for webmasters. Then I would do a one time only, or two time only spam to try and get the ball rolling on an affiliate program....but I would want a fairly clean webmaster email list which is not easy to get. You could possible make one with email sucker software.

>Also wanted to know
>where I could get e-mail address and a program that sends them.

there used to be tons of them. the biggest one was always EXTRACTOR PRO
www.extractor.com/

I used to use three or four little ones. One was called MAILLOOP. I see they are still in business
www.mailloop.com

Here is one I sort of remember called ExpressMail
www.e-mailsoftware.com

Jerry writes
I know when you spam you get complaints and possible trouble with ISP. I will have to learn trial and error of course is there anything you know to avoid major problems/trobles? Any ideas on how to run a smooth opperation.

Guru-O-Gif writes
I have been asked this before in an article and I think the key is to be honest and not sneaky. I would not stealth the server. I would not bounce off other people's servers (illegal). I would not fake a header. I would not use a scare tactic headline like ("your servers are down", "I got your sister pregnant", "this is the feds and we want to arrest you") ..sure those wil get your email read but you will be in a world of hurt when the phone starts ringing, your server gets hacked, and you get 400,000 emails in your box...seriously. I would try to be honest as possible and honor all removes. Again, I would never do it. I know most people who have never done it don't believe me, but you have to have extremely thick skin to take the mental pounding you will endour when you bulk spam. I have never had people so violent at me, all for a damn simple single email in their box. It is really physchologically amusing. I would also tell your ISP before you do it to insure he is aware what is going on. ISPs will tell you how dangerous bulk email vigilante's are.

hope this helps out a bit. Sorry I am down on bulk email spam. You can try it and see what you think of it. It is a one time traffic hit so you will have to repeat it often and be ready to lose your ISP if you attempt to do it weekly since most ISPs will not tolerate it. Hey Dayne, Gary, Wes, or Sexy Kacy, what is your ISP policy on spam? Shoot me a note if you want to tell webmasters how you handle it and what can go wrong if the vigalate's get nasty? email me -> andy@lips.com

Jerry writes
What about not letting them reply and link to a fake e-mail address??

Guru-O-Gif writes
I think you get into dangerous area. you are semi breaking the law and they will track it back to your ISP. I personally would not do this...you might but you are playing with fire

Jerry writes
i'm getting some good tips on how to avoid alot of problems.

Guru-O-Gif writes
there is a core group of hardcore haters and they used to be so powerful that they would trade a list of known spammers each day....my ISPs have lost all email access because these anti spammers act first and ask questions later...it is very frustrating if they single you out since many sites use their filter services list

Jerry writes
If I get death threats in return for 25-100 sign-ups a-day I'll take it!

Guru-O-Gif writes - EMAIL MATH
hee hee. Well, you would have to do a very large list. For example...let's say you get a 2% click rate and a 1:1000 sign up rate...let's do some math. And this is interesting for newsletter math as well. 25 sign ups X 1000 = 25,000 and this is 2% so 1% is 12500 and 100% is 1,250,000. In my estimation, you will have to email out a million emails a day to get 25+ singups a day. Sure I could be wrong. Say the number is 500,000. That is just a huge number. First you have to find 500,000 emails a day. There are only like 100M americans actively online....you will be through that list in less than a year but I would bet 500,000 emails a day and a company would not last a week...that is so many mad people :)

Jerry writes
i'm also going to ask around more. I'll let you know how it goes.

Guru-O-Gif writes
I think it is a good idea to ask around more and get some varying opinions. If you do decide to try it...please write back a week after you do it with your thoughts since it again would be terrific reading in the newsletter with a first hand account.

anyone have more opinions on this subject? email me =) andy@lips.com

CWM BACKUP PROCEDURE from Gary
Gary emaile me with how their backup procedure works at CWM with that new monster system they have and here are the printouts...check out that speed! This is ISP tech stuff so 99% of it is over my head =)

Gary writes
If your curious.....
Here's the report from the backup process, shows tape ID, start/stop time, and throughput..... This was 4 .tar files from a unix server, total about 2.8 Gigabytes, took about an hour to ftp over to the backup server, limited ftp to about 3 mbits, so as not to slow/load server, and not to mess up their charts too bad. Report below is backing up from the local HD on the Win2K server, through the DLT Library.

Backed up 4 files in 2 directories.
Processed 2,858,347,132 bytes in 6 minutes and 14 seconds.
Throughput rate: 437.3 MB/min

!! 437 MB/Min !! Of course, that's from local disk drive.

Andy, Raw transfer rates are always faster, since this was backing up only 4 file at 2.8GB, it doesn't have to look through thousands of directories and files, write tape file headers, all the stuff that isn't real file data. If this was 1000's of smaller files, it would effectively be lower, as it is doing more housekeeping and not transferring raw data. That's how manufacturers can skew the numbers to look better than we get in the real world. Even on a 'regular' directory structure disk backup, it will do 300+mb/min though! Like the 160MB/sec that they advertise on the newest scsi drives, try to get that in the real world! Yes, it can transfer that from disk drive memory straight to the controller, but it can't possibly read that fast from the disk, cache and transfer to you to do something with, when you are reading through a gigabyte file. They are still much faster than older drives and some very impressive speeds. 6 seconds to read a gigabyte? They get close.

HOW LONG SHOULD A COOKIE LAST? from Neil
Neil writes
I've not come across anyone discussing this before so I thought I'd run it by you. In a webmaster referral program how long do you / the industry think a cookie should be set for until it expires ? Some sites only set them for the current session, others 1 day, others 30 days and some a whole year.

This will make a big impact on comissions paid to webmasters promoting the site as people who bookmark and then return later will still have the comission paid under a longer cookie whereas a site with a current session only cookie will probably pay very little out in comission and therefore loose business by loosing sponsors in the long run. If you have any pointers on this I'd appreciate hearing about them.

I notice that ccbill's built in programme allows you to set a cookie expiry upto however many days you want to but ibills built in system only allows 1 day unless you us your own software. Any stats, etc would be appreciated. I'm sure it's something lots of people overlook unless they're writing
their own software.

WHERE DO YOU TRADE STOCKS from Ryan
Ryan asks
You have probably stated this a million times before but damned if I can remember. Where do you buy and sell your stocks?

Guru-O-Gif writes
I am actually going back to an old place this very week. I will add this too the newsletter. I hope people are not mad that I am flip flopping on a move. I am going back to CSFB Direct. Here is what happened.

Originally I was on AOL in the mid 90s and used PCfinancial. They were then bought by DLJ Direct. They were then bought by CSFB Direct. I had always liked DLJ and CSFB but they got into trouble and announced a $400M loss for the quarter of their banking parent company and rumors were they would sell the online division. This scared the pants off me so I decided to switch. I went to AMEX brokerage but am disappointed overall. I would rate AMEX brokerage a 7/10 and CSFB a 9/10. The online version of CSFB is very easy to use. Both sites have very good telephone support. Here is what I do not like about AMEX after being there a month:

1. you cannot short sale without calling and that is $75 commission

2. they do not email you your sales and CSFB does. I prefer this even though it is a security risk

3. When you email tech suport you have to read it on their site...this is hard to use and slow.

4. I use stop orders and I frequently find that they disappear sometimes. Perhaps it is me but I feel they have not got the kinks out.

Last night I called CSFB and said "I want to come back". They recently sold to Bank Of Montreal which is a great bank in Canada with a strong foundation. They said they are going to move the site the second week of february or so. I think they are a very good online brokerage and I plan to move my regular and two IRA accounts back their as of next week. Try navigating the two sites and you will quickly feel what I am talking about

DOTSTER AND VERISIGN
Richard just wrote me an interesting story. He decided he was sick of the old NS BS and decided to move some domains from Verisign aka Network Solutions and over to Dotster...the coolest. He got one domain over and then decided to do a batch transfer....he then got tripped up because there were different comany owners. Well guess what. All of a sudden, the names were no where to be found. The were in the WHOIS, but Dotster could not see them. Dotster even called Richard on the phone a couple of times to work through the problem (how is that for service...when has NS ever called you). Well the names are still blocked or hidden from Dotster. How wierd is that. They are going to wait 48 hours a try again. PS..have you seen the finances for Verisign on stock sites...they only lost $13.36 billion last year....holy crap!

BOXING
this week on saturday night...be ready as there are two great bouts. Hopkins (the lad who beat trinidad) in one, and Roy Jones Jr in the other. Both on HBO.

MMA aka mixed martial arts....this ain't wrestling mon frere...this is street fighting with rules...mano et mano :) WOW. two of the greatest cards coming up quicky. First, PRIDE will simply be awesome with Dan the Preditor Frye as he returns to the ring to take on Ken Shamrock, known to many as Shammy or Galmrock
www.pridefc.com/upcom/indx.html

and UFC is going to be insane with Vitor
www.ufc.tv/events/ppv/ufc36/ufc36.asp

now you first time readers are asking yourself "what the hell does this have anything to do with the internet". And that is a good question and there is no real good answer...but I am going to pull one out of my butt just this one time since it is the first week of the email join form.

The reason I wanted to tell you about boxing is becuase it provides a good example of using the language translator BABBLEFISH :) You see, when I want up to date news on my japanese fighting heros, I just load up a japanese site into bablefish and I can now read it. This looks very hard to read
www.ufc.tv/events/ppv/ufc36/ufc36.asp

so let's now ty this
babelfish.altavista.com/
paste in the url and select japanese to english....hmmm but today for some reason it is coming up white ? try this link
www.so-net.ne.jp/pride/info/main.html

hmmm, well my example is not working out that well today since babblefish seems to be struggling. Normally a page would come up and it is barely readable but funny. Comedy is not pretty =)

WAIT a few more things before I forget. Next week I believe will be our first week for selling ads in SexSwap news. There are 6-7 folks already lined up in the queue to buy ads. I can hear the groans from folks now. I think it is going to be fun. The newsletter is text and I don't mind reading text ads, especially if they are interesting. Also, Dan and I talked about it, we are dropping the shameless plug section. It has been a pain in my side since the beginning and I am relieved to stop doing it. This week we actually had zero submissions to it.

Next week I hope to babble about 3 topics that I enjoy

1. Making new banners that test well
here are two I tried and sucked
trix.sexswap.com/banner_test/test1.html

2. Catching Crooks
I can't give out all the secrets but I have some simple ones that can help protect an affiliate program etc.

3. Paysite math revisited
I love to come back to this every 6 months because I continue to go to new affilaite programs and I see some funny stuff that makes me get a big belly laugh. Legendary Lars and I had some good ICQ posts on this subject this week and I will share the TRUTH that most people don't want to hear. What's a visitor worth? I'll tell you how to figure it out exactly.

those are my stories
