Back In Black...coffee that
is. It is another classic mongo sized issue of sexswap new! Thank you
to all who have contributed and emailed in this week with tricks, scripts,
knowledge, and old fashioned BS and opinions which should be all 'taken
with a bag of salt". There are almost too many things to mention
this week so I will tease you with just a couple. Mike has written in
with an awesome section on how he became an adult webmater. It is an
awesome "HOW TO" break into this business. I especially enjoyed
how he made his own content. I am always wondered "how do you go
about getting gals and guys to pose for pics" and "how much
does it cost". This is a great read even if you are an old pro.
One other section I really enjoyed was from Craig the Programmer on
"what really happens to apache during a brute force attack".
This is a doctorial thesis level treatise on the subject. Most of it
flew way over my head =) but it was still highly informational and jam
packed with rare details. HEY! If you have ideas or thoughts or arguements
on any or all subjects covered in SexSwap new, feel free to drop me
and email and I'll include your stories in future issues -> andy@lips.com
This week I have a story
or two of my own. Have you ever heard of IM information bots? I hadn't.
In the past, we have talked about chat bots. This takes it one step
further where you give away some sort of content with a BOT but slide
into a little add or two with the content. More on this below.

IM SOFT SELLING INFO BOTS
Here is an idea we have talked about before that is slowly changing
and this I find interesting and may be a new method no porn site and
few mainstream sites have tried for traffic and income. You can program
a chat bot to respond to people on ICQ. A few months ago I showed an
example of MrXTC's ICQ chat bot 'BadBunny' who would talk back dirty
to me :) I see BadBunny is offline now but you might catch her online
sometime with ICQ # 13717983. In the following article in this month's
Business 2.0 page 98 Feb2000 (not on their website et), they talk about
a new software product and idea emerging. Why not deliver "Content"
through IMs? Here is an example....like BadBunny, I some day soon have
an ICQ bud called "WeatherBunny". I send WB a quick IM in
the morning "Hi WeatherBun, what's up today?". Weather Bunny
writes back: "Hi sex god Guru-O-Gif, the weather for 91784 is hot
and sunny with a temp of 95F. PS buy suntan lotion at http:www.suntanlotion.com".
I get a little content that
I want and FAST and the price I pay is a tagline ad. Pretty sweet if
you ask me. Subtle and innovative. The sky is the limit right now on
what could be done with this. I can think of a few examples of the top
of my head
BEST PRICE IM BOT
here could be a bot that is specialized to find the lowest price for
a product line...maybe cars...maybe computer parts like pricewatch
"where can I get the lowest price on a Kia Sophia"
"andy, try Big Jimmy's House of imports at www.bigjmmyskia.com"
MOVIE IM BOT
tell me where locally I can go to a movie
"Where is lord of the rings playing in my area"
"Guf Gurur, that would be Edwards Cineplex at the Mills"
GIFT BOT
"there are 7 days til my sister's birthday, where can I find a
gift for under $75"
"andy, try www.sharperimage.com
I think the technical trouble
will be in the logic algorithms. Do you use Ask Jeeve's? Like that must
be the most painful search engine on earth and this is no different.
Let me ask Jeeve's my Kia Sophia Question
Check out answer #1 ...what a piece of crap =)
www.ask.com/main/askjeeves.asp?ask=where+can+I+get+the+lowest+price+on+a+Kia+Sophia&o=0
You may find my search results
helpful:
The Malaysian Economist on Micro ecomony in Malaysia ... Micro Economy
Strategy High tariff and import restriction help keep car price high
www.geocities.com/WallStreet/Exchange/1366/micro.html
and this is why people use
google and not ask jeeves =) Now I am trying to think of porn applications
for this new IM technology but it does not seem as easy. Here are some
quick thoughts.
PRICE SHOPPING
"where can I find the pay site with lowest monthly fees?"
FREE PIC SEARCH
"Where can I find free pics on Chloe?"
you might be able to use it like a TGP...the bot gives the location
of a few pics but those pages are loaded with join ads.
Here is a site that is working
on this technology as we speak

GOOGLE CUSTOM SEARCH PORTAL
IDEA
Here is something I was thinking about and was going to try and code
and then I went to google and found out that they actually allow it
and will give you the code instantly. I love using the google search
engine on the sexswap trix archive and my cobralads site. You can see
the search box here at the top of the yellow area
trix.sexswap.com
google stays fairly up to
date...at most it might be 5-6 weeks behind in archiving which is not
too bad for a modern engine. What I wanted to do next is try and create
my own portal engine. I thought "why don't I hack this code and
make a "cobra portal search engine" which the 20 big cobra
sites. I started to look at the code and get a small headache and then
WOW...here it is already at google!
www.google.com/services/free.html
log in and then look at the URL area...seperate MULTIPLE DOMAINS with
a semi colon....that is the only trick. You can then past the search
on your pages. You can even hack it out a bit and repostion things.
Here is an example of a multi domain search, almost creating your own
mini targetted portal search engine...I have added 6 sites to the search
box at the top of the page
www.cobralads.com/
How does this relate to your
sites? Well, if you have 20 porn sites or mainstream sites...this is
one way to try and keep people on your sites and ot leaving. AND it
helps them better find what they are looking for on your sites. Add
your 20 sites and create your own search engine with results only on
your sites and you will move traffic around and have additional chances
at the sale. At the same time, you help people find stuff on your sites
in a quicker more efficient matter. Let me know what you think

MORE GOOGLE NEWS - SMELLS

Feb Business2 just wrote a story on google hiring some harvard MBA chick,
Sheryl Sandberg, as the new general manager of business units. Google
also has 30 job's availabel postings on their site and are seeking a
Chief Financial Officer which is heavy indication that they are going
to IPO. They are still in the black and run the show with a staff of
280 which seems a little large but not crazy. Let me see if I can find
those job postings...they get over 500 resumes a day! Hey! did you know
there was a google store? I had no idea...and they have great tie die

Model: Dell XPS-T450
Mobo: Intel SE440BX-3
PIII 450, Voodoo 3000 3dfx: 601
PIII 450, ASUS V7700 Ti Deluxe ( Geforce 2 GTS ): 1450
Powerleap Tualatin Celeron 1.2 GHz, ASUS V7700: 2635
I'll have to experiment a bit more to get a sense of how much faster
things are. Also note that I returned my "Pure" VGA card in
exchange for the Deluxe version, 3D glasses and all. I wanted the Deluxe
because it has video in. I can plug my analogue video recorder directly

BRUTE FORCE ATTACKS IDEAS
AND THOUGHTS from Darren
Darren writes:
this Brute forcing topic is interesting! :)
Brute forcing has been going on for several years
now...why so long for webmasters to pick up on the
fact people are constantly trying to break into their
site?
Stephan's idea of submitting
to password sites is a
good one. I don't doubt there are people making money
out there doing it. But they are not gonna tell you
how they are doing it. :)) But we have directed tons
of password traffic to front pages, signup pages etc.
on amateur sites that were doing 1:200 conversions,
and password traffic converts SHIT! People looking for
free passwords are not going to pay for it!
As for having a hidden area
so it cannot be brute
forced, we have used perl scripts to hide our members
areas and it works pretty good. Until the perl script
gets attacked, then you see 50.00 + server loads. It
is nasty. I have not seen a solution to this, although
I am sure php would be better then perl. We just leave
our members areas URL public, let the crackers go at
it. They will learn what a 403 error is sooner or
later.
As for brute force programs
shutting off, some will
keep going after a valid login, some will stop. It
depends how you configure them, or if they were coded
with an option to stop or keep going. Most password
'crackers' (script kiddies) will keep the program
running. If you can catch a crack in progress and all
of the sudden it stops on the username 'alice' then
you know that they found a valid login and the program
stopped. But, like I said, most crackers will let it
run on so you can't tell.
Iprotect kicks ass, and there
is not one program out
there that can touch it. It is compiled into Apache
and uses little to no overhead. It is well worth the
money, you can earn it back if you are clever.
Unfortunately your host has to install it. It costs a
lot. And a lot of hosting companies will not use it as
they make a ton off of overages. If anyone is hosted
by a company that does not use this software, let me
know and I will set you up with us!
(darren_bsd@yahoo.com) A lot of big adult hosting
companies are not using this software (on purpose) and
it is a total disservice to their customers. We know
of a biggie that used it at one time and stopped using
it. Gee, wonder why? ;)
As for seeding passwords,
read above, password traffic
is SHIT. But it can easily be done with iProt. Like
your guy said, they have been doing it for years now.
So have a lot of people. :)) But, believe it or not,
password sites have databases of rogue domains and
ip's that submit fake sites, or redirect traffic. I
have seen them, they are quite large. ha ha
I think if you did redirect
the traffic intelligently
you could make money from it. I rank the traffic as
crappier the TGP traffic, though so you would have to
get a lot to profit from it. But, there are ways...you
just have to think outside the box. :) Traffic is
traffic...some just sucks worse then others. If you
can sell ice to Eskimos, you can convert password
traffic.

SECURITY EXPLOIT PROBE from
Delay
Delay writes:
I noticed you were having some security problems. I am not really an
expert as far as your specific problem. I have found a fairly cool program
which allows you to probe the holes in your system that a hacker might
exploit. You can check out the URL. I believe they have a free version
you can download but it is fairly complex to install and update (but
hey its free), there is also a web version which costs around $100 per
year.

here is the url to web saint

I use the web version as it is suppose to stay up to date with all of
the latest exploits... and hopefully it will keep me from getting hacked
too easily. You might take a look... There are also similar programs
to your script like tripwire... I think I will install your little script.
It looks pretty cool and every little bit helps :-)

WHAT HAPPENS TO APACHE DURING
A BRUTE FORCE ATTACK from Craig
Craig the Programmer wrrites:
In response to this suggestion. I can't vouch for whether or not it
is a
good money making idea....might be decent for making a few extra coins
by
using popups for exit console programs....but personally I could see
very
little profit coming out of the work in setting a cash in page up. If
someone has gone to the trouble to find a password site, they will more
than
likely pass you by when they realize it's a fake. Might come in handy
though if instead of a payment page to instead use it as a way of fueling
traffic for a tgp....actually put some content on the hacked page and
treat
that page like you normally would if it was a TGP...might be a potential
way
of filtering horrible traffic for just awful traffic =)
However the biggest problem
with the hacked passwords isn't the
bandwidth....it's the demand on the server. By default an apache server
is
limited to 150 simultaneous connections. Without needing to make a source
adjustment and rebuilding the software you can increase this limit to
256 (I
think 1024 on Windows machines). The problem is that most brute force
programs use multiple connections sometimes to the extreme. Say the
person
doing the hacking is doing 100 simultaneous attempts. Assuming there
have
been no configuration changes from the default we have a number of problems
(Remember this is using default
configs)
Apache only ever has 5 processes
listening for activity to start. So now we
have the 100 connection attempts being logged
5 processes are now running, 95 are backed up
When maxed out apache starts increasing reserve processes (up to that
150
limit), starting at 1 and doubling in number each second....so when
there's
a backlog the first second only 1 processes is added, then 2, then 4,
etc up
to 32 processes per second
Getting back to the connections
95 connections are pending
6 connections, 94 pending
8 connections, 92 pending
12 connections, 88 pending
20 connections, 80 pending
36 connections, 64 pending
58 connections, 32 pending
90 connections, 0 pending
so now just to handle those
initial 100 connections it takes about 8 seconds
(pending on if your server can keep up with the increases swiftly
enough)....Sounds easy enough...8 seconds isn't all that much. But it
does
then create a backlog with other requests such as other people trying
to
connect to the site....they need to wait at minimum those 8 seconds
before
the page even starts getting downloaded.
Now the painful news.
1 -
The first major downfall....Keepalives ....an excellent configuration
to use
to help conserve processing power and memory usage but is devastating
when
getting hacked...keepalives basically reserve that process to the IP
currently connected to it for X amount of time...usually 15 seconds.
So now even if the hacker
stops after those 100 attempts, no one can use the
100 processes now idle for 15 seconds...so new connections need to be
created for all new requests.
2 -
You would initially think...well 100 used connections isn't all that
bad...if I set the server to 256 that still allows another 156 people
to
connect to the server...right?
Dead wrong. The reason for that is most browsers do simultaneous
downloadings....they download they HTML plus have separate connections
to
download each image to be displayed in that HTML at the same time to
help
decrease the delay on displaying the page...I'm not sure what the limit
is
but I have seen Netscape 4.X browsers downloading as many as 25 items
simultaneously. Here's a simple way to see for yourself on a windows
based
machine.
Reboot your system, open
up an msdos prompt (start menu -> run -> command)
type: netstat -A
This will list all your current network connections, there will be a
few
already in the list used for keeping the network usable on your system
so
just ignore those.
now open up your browser
and go to a website....a good example is
www.cnn.com as they display several graphics on their HTML pages
after the page is loaded go back to the msdos prompt
type: netstat -A
you will now see a considerable
number of open connections...each of those
represent a connection that was made to cnn.com's webserver. Keep this
in
mind as you read below.
Let's say very conservatively
each HTML page has the user's browser create
only 5 connections...one for the HTML and a few graphical images...however
anything with thumbnail tables or even poorman sitemaps (having a jumble
of
images meshed together to form one complete image instead of just that
singular image) can increase that number
Okay so 5 connections per
user - 156/5 = 31 users with one free process
So now you're down to 31 people who can access the site simultaneously.
Then you have the keep alive issue again. If 5 users load one page each,
then 25 connections are tied up for 15 seconds (after the downloading
is
complete). So if you have a large number of unique individuals you can
run
out of connections very quickly. And that's just HTML pages....large
downloads (ex. movie clips) or slow connection users can tie the connections
up for a lot longer. This means now that the 100 connections consumed
by
the hacker are wreaking havoc on your paying subscribers (or those going
through your free areas as potential customers) even if you're blocking
those connections either via 403s, redirects, etc.
And then what happens if
you have multiple brute force programs on you?
Kiss your server connectivity goodbye to anyone legitimately trying
to
connect to your website(s).
Then there is the suggestion about the sales pages, or pages to trick
the
hackers into thinking they got access to the members area. If ever you
check out any of the password sites online you'll see a LOT of pay sites
actually use this trick...usually in cahoots with the administrator
of that
password site. The pay sites will offer phony username/passwords, the
administrator then posts it on the password site pretending like it's
a
legitimate hack (my oxymoron for the day) and then gets a kickback on
any
signups. Personally I don't know if such a method works however it has
been
around for years and it's possible it's been bled dry.
However if you do want to
try that be sure you can take on the extra
traffic....I remember helping a company set up a few of these trick
pages
and they had about 200,000 page hits within a few days. I don't know
if
they got any sales or were able to put that traffic to any use however
the
servers took a beating....they stayed online due to the preperatory
measures
that were taken (btw if anyone is attempting to try this I strongly
urge
them to use a BSD os as it is much more efficient on handling pure web
traffic than any other unix based os I have worked with). I think even
with
a conservative page consiting of about 60k worth of HTML and graphics
they
forked out about 12 GBits of data just on the crap traffic.
I'm not saying something
like this is unprofitable....I honestly don't
know...but you need to be prepared for the additional strain on your
server(s) and I strongly discourage anyone who shares a server with
others
to try this.
If anyone is seeking any
further advice on the subject or require assistance
in developing something like this, they can contact me at

BUYING ADULT BANNER SPACE
from Brien
Brien writes
I was looking for places to buy hits. Got any suggestions? I'd like
to test out some stuff and wanted to buy the hits for that. I'm not
too fond of the search engine buying of hits.
Guru-O-Gif writes
It is very tough to buy hits and I have written about this in the past.
Let me make up some numbers and give you an example. If I own a paysite
that is making 1 cent for every 5 cent banners I can buy, would I now
buy as many banners as I can? It is the laws of supply and demand and
I would continue to buy banners at that rate until infinity since the
more I buy the more I make. Therefore, most sites would buy the entire
inventory a selling site has to offer. Now the next part of this is...who
makes more money per hit? It is hard to say but I think to milk a hit
to the maximum, you need 10+ paysites in your portfolio and some traffic
trades and maybe even a mainstream site. This way you squeeze that one
hit for every inch of life it has. You work every sale you can on it
to make the most on the one hit. Therefore, some of the larger sites
with these portfolios of paysites and mainstream and traffic trades
might make 7 cents a click where you or I might make 5 cents. This means
that they can bid advertising up to 6 cents. They would buy ALL ads
for sale at 6 cents and they would make a net profit. We can only buy
at 5 cents...if we now uy the ads selling at 6 cents, we lose money.
If I am an ad seller, I am going to raise my rates as high as the market
will bear and go with the buyer at 6 cents. Through normal market forces,
most ads for sale are priced too high for 80% of buyer since 20% of
buyer have found a way to milk that liitle extra out of an ad.
Now if you still want to
try, the next problem is trying to find someone to sell. Most people
ar tied into long term relationship deals at this point. You still may
be able to buy ads on Persiankitty.com or maybe hitbox. I don't really
know of other places with banners for sale right now...you will have
to ask around. This is the reason I like the engines...you can control
whay you bid and there are occasionally wierd words that are not bid
up but the new problem is then....can I get enough traffic from obscure
words etc.
If you do buy ads, once again
the best thing is to test. See if you can buy $500 or less to run a
test. If the site wants $5000 min. this is generally a risky test that
could cost a chunk of change but some sellers only want to deal with
larger buyers. Try to find one that will work with you to see if their
traffic works for you.
anyone know of sites selling
banner spots that are good to work with at this time? email me and I
will add the list to next week letter andy@lips.com

SO YOU WANT TO BE AN AMATEUR
ADULT WEBMASTER from Mike
Mike writes
Here is an article I wrote for THE AMATEUR ezine, JANUARY 2002
www.amateurmagazine.net
I can send photos and easily make it a pictoral if you would consider
posting it.
Have you ever seen porn on
the web and thought to yourself "gee, is that girl
on dope or what, I could do better than that". Many people often
wonder who all
of these naked people are and how they get on various websites. I though
that I
might share some insight for those thinking of starting their own adult
pay-
site. This is not really a "how-to" so much as just our story
with some advice.
I am actually a web-developer and had worked with several "models"
who had pay-
sites at the time and saw that they were getting loads of traffic and
were
making a few dollars with their pics and such and decided to get into
amateur
adult entertainment thinking it would be easy and here is a recap of
how I
started.
CONTENT: The first thing
I needed was content. I briefly explored "buying"
content, but as an avid porn-surfer, I had already seen most of what
was
available 10 times over. I figured I could hire "models" and
photo them
locally. I would have "exclusive" content and get to watch
girls get naked as
well!
EQUIPMENT: I then reviewed
my equipment. I already had a 1.3 mpxl camera and my
partner and I had just bought 2 Mpeg movie cameras at $500 ea. The photo
quality was ok, and the videos were quite nice, so we got a few lights
and were
ready. In hindsight, I just bought a $1500 4.0 mpxl camera and should
have done
so from the beginning- oh well. You can see some samples at
www.gradeagirl.com/sample
RECRUITING: We then started
to run ad's in the local DC "city-paper" - which
conveniently had an adult section and the local college campus paper
as well.
Almost instantly, calls started rolling in. Even though we requested
a sample
photo in the ad, girls would just call and inquire and I would then
have to
talk (usually at an inconvenient time) and try to get them to send a
photo via
email or snail mail. We got everything from pro/ semi-pro girls wanting
$500/hr
to college girls and skanks just looking for (dope money). We actually
had
drawn up pay rates and posted them on our business website for people
to
review. Basically, we offered about $100/hr for nude and $150/hr for
explicit -
which we were told was the going rates. We got several fatties which
prompted
us to re-word "slim-to-medium" in our ad. We also got some
real hotties that of
course never called back to schedule a shoot. Our ad was straight forward
- we
pay girls to get nude for website. Some pricks try the hustle and claim
to be
a "New York" agency or some crap, and try to get girls to
pose for a "free
portfolio" - but there may be some legal issues with that and regardless,
it's
just cheesy.
EITHER WAY, ALWAYS GET A PHOTO FIRST. For some people, you may have
girlfriends
willing to pose and that will save a lot of time and effort. However,
if you
are interested in doing this as more than just a hobby, you will need
multiple
models to make any real money. I'm not saying that a one- girl site
will not
work, just that more is more.
THE SHOOT: The first one or two shoots we did at my buds condo (I'm
married,
and my wife knows - but didn't want a bunch of girls at our home) -
partially
for the security offered by the pass-door and partially to save a buck
in case
no one showed. Essentially, about 1/2 of the girls scheduled will show
up. One
time they all showed, another time we twiddled our thumbs for 6 hours.
We
finally learned to ALWAYS book a hotel and schedule 6-10 girls over-lapping
to
get 3 or 4 to show up. You may be faced with 2 girls showing up at almost
the
same time that way, but it's better than waiting an hour at a time and
you may
even get some good lesbo action going that way as well.
THE ACTION: At first, we
would just tell the girl to get naked and snap away,
but that results in girls that look like they are on dope. We got into
it after
the nervousness wore off and started to tell them what to do and such
- that
seems to be what most of them want anyway. About half of the girls we
met were
willing to do some hard-core or lesbo action for a few extra $$$, but
we played
it by ear mostly. Either way, it is much more comfortable if you joke
around
and otherwise be nice to them, but not too nice. It's best to find out
what
they will do prior to avoid any embarrassment. Of course, always get
them to
sign the model release and get their ID first (discussed in Legal)
THE WEB SITE: As web developers, we did not have a problem slapping
together a
half-way decent web-site and hosting it on our own server. However,
this could
be the biggest cost and hassle of the whole process. Whereas the design
is
simple, finding a designer who does porn and takes it seriously can
be tough. I
recommend working with someone local, or someone (like www.awwg.net)
who is
trustworthy and has experience with such. Hosting is a major concern
because it
costs more and is less available to the adult community. The bandwidth
needed
for 100's of people to simultaneously download images and movies is
astronomical. You would most likely do a sample page which (under 'marketing")
will receive the bulk of your traffic. It is best to host the sample
page on a
separate server if possible. Doing a web-cam is a hassle and I go back
to the
bandwidth issue, and of course a suitable place to broadcast from. Typically,
you can find an independent designer or small shop to do the work from
$1000-
$5000 and a larger outfit could be $5000-$15,000. A good resource (reluctant-
plug) for adult web masters and entrepreneurs is www.pornresource.com
MOVING MONEY: Collecting
money can be done in several fashions. The fact that a
porn-membership is an impulse buy, you need to be able to give people
immediate
access to your site after they pay. If you have a "Merchant Account",
your bank
provider may have software and a web interface that allows for people
to pay
you on-line with a credit card and issue a password. Many people including
us
use a 3rd party billing system like (reluctant-plug www.ccbill.com )
which
takes and processes credit card info, and issues a password They also
handle
some customer service, security, and the accounting. They typically
charge
about 15% of your sign-up fee, but overall, it is a stress-free way
of dealing
with collecting the money. You will have to provide them with either
a social
security number or a business tax-id # (yes - there are taxes - even
on porn).
MARKETING: Now that we had
about a dozen models in various "core" poses, a web-
site, and a way to legally take money, we were ready to launch. There
are many
resources available and marketing an adult site can be a full-time job.
We have
had limited success with "TGP" thumb-nail gallery posts' where
you post a pic
or gallery of photos on a big web-site where people go to look for free
porn.
The downside to that is you only get about 1 subscriber per 1000 visitors.
Another good way is to exchange "banners" with other adult
sites - preferably
pay sites with existing members. You may have to pay for this if you
have a new
site with little to offer. Search engines do little good and we didn't
even
bother.
LEGAL: Although some people
make a big deal out of adult entertainment, we
figured we would cover our asses as best we could and just fold if anyone
sweated us too hard. We told the girls exactly what we were doing and
had "borrowed" a standard model release stating that we would
own the
photo/videos and we would photo all ID's and store them in the girls
folder.
This and a standard disclaimer on our web-site was about it. There are
many
legalities that we will not address and I would encourage anyone to
do their
research first.
SUMMARY: We now have our
porn site, which we will continue to grow based on our
recruiting efforts and budget. Although we've only made back a portion
of the
money we invested - it is on track to pay for itself in the not-too-distant
future. After making some valuable contacts, we now have girls referred
to us
frequently and get invited to sex-parties and such as well. The most
important
thing I can relate to anyone breaking into the business is basically
to be a
nice guy. "You catch more flies with honey". Check out our
site
www.gradeagirl.com/sample and know that if you join, we actually appreciate
it
and will improve it as time goes.
PS: If you are a webmaster,
please do not try to hack our site. We will gladly give you a password

boot...well, dmoz has 87k+ adult listings...I know lots of webmasters
have 100+ domains, so I am sure if you just added "webmaster@"

I'M AN AMATEUR - HORSE SHIT
=)
I feel the need to hope onto the soap box and do a little spewing. I
think I need a new section called
DEW SOME SPEW
where I spout of my opinions on some adult or mainstream subject. One
subject I find rather odd is the division in porn of AMATEUR VS ? Know
what I am saying? Amateur vs pro? What the fuck is this bullshit all
about? Let me lay it on the line right here and right now. If you are
on the web and have a porn site and are trying to make money at it...you
are a pro. You are in porn. I don't understand all these claims of "I'm
an amateur" Someone please help me understand? 8^)
Here is where I draw the lines
AMATEUR
nude pics on the web and free...totally free, no ads. Here is a buxom
babe who I have never met but I love her site and she is my definition
of "amateur"
www.buxomdream.com/homex.html
Man! this babe is getting 10,000 uniques a day! A goldmine. Interesting
vwr1.hitbox.com/HitboxUI?acct=WQ500426HGNB81ENB81EN0
STRUGGLING PRO
nude pics on the web and trying to make money but bills may be higher
than profits. I don't have an example of this since I don't know people's
bottom lines. If you are attempting to make money with your website
and nude pics...I fail to see how this is amatuer?
PRO
nude pics on the web and making more money that it is costing. Any classic
porn site is an example
I don't even think it should
be called PRO. I just don't see 90% of people calling themsleves amateurs
being amateur? Huh? I don't get it nor have I ever gotten it? Does amateur
mean
1. you take your own pics?
2. the pics are kinda grainy?
3. the pics don't have a back drop but are in a seedy hotel?
4. that you work from home?
Or does amateur mean that
you have never appeared in a commercially released porn movie? So? I
find it unusual that some of these "Amateurs" that I have
known online for 5 years gross $5M a year and net $1M and make 10x more
than struggling porno flick actresses but continue to call themselves
'amateur'
please, email me and show
me the light WHAT makes a person or site an 'amatuer' -> andy@lips.com
=) cause I don't see it

RUBIK'S CUBE
Do you have a cube still sitting around you desk? I do. No idea why
but I felt compelled to relearn how to solve it a year ago and am now
2 squares away. Is this 1980? What the hell am I doing. I used to know
the Ideal Toys "Simple Solution" when I was a young pimple
faced lad. I remember it was a series of patterns and moves and I could
solve the cube in a couple of minute. Well, I some how stubled onto
the following website and it fascintated me since it uses only 2 series
of moves which are not that complex. Now it is not easy as it seems
but I have finally made some progess. I even bought the guys video for
$10. Have you ever wondered "these folks that sell obscure videos
on obscure subjects...how many tapes do they sell and do they make any
coin at it?" I have always wondered that. If you are bored and
are looking to hurt your brain, pick up that dusty cube and give this
solution a try. I am still about a month away from understanding it.
I have solved it to step 5 and am at the end game.
