I gotta stop these Tuesday
night issues of sexswap news! hee hee haa. Here I am once again lapping
myself. Tomorrow I go under the knife for yet another fun operation.
Nothing big...the infamous "scope up the dink otomy" as I
like to call it. They are looking up into my kidneys for burried tresure
and I believe I will be given the gas around 2:30pm and have to be there
at 11am so the whole day will be shot and I imagine I will be a vegetable
on returning home :) Hence the need to blast out the letter early since
I love things early as opposed to late.
This week there are more
comments and ideas on the world of TGPs that I think we will all find
interesting, especially from the Ninja Master "SleazyDreams"
who gets 400k a day in traffic using his patented techniques.. Several
folks wrote in with more chat clients for unix and one is a trick programmed
beauty in mysql and php!
Want some great internet
news? Remember my prediction last week that this Christmas shopping
season will be HUGE online. Richard just sent me that latest news for
September shopping stats....it was record breaking. $4.7 billion. This
is more than last september and MORE people bought online in september
than did during last christams season. This internet shopping snowball
is starting to pick up speed. The news media will soon be forced to
write the success stories of the internet once again since the numbers
cannot be ignored!

I have in this biz for almost 5 years. I clearly remember having a ball
making one free site per week and watching the Xpics dollars simply
roll in. It WAS a money machine back in those days and I continually
ask myself why I wasn't making 10 sites per day back then but, oh well,
who was to know.
I found this response to
be so damn accurate its NOT funny. These days I make a TGP, a free site,
an AVS site and a search engine site per day, every freakin day. And
I can't see it getting any easier in the future. I would like to know
if we need to see a major change in the industry to make some cash a
few years from now. Every mother and their dog is out there making TGPs
and Movieposts and getting submissions thanks to submission software.
All it takes for a "good" credit card holding surfer to come
across on of these free daily porn suppliers and they'll never pay for
it again. But how to cut down on TGPs? Do the TGP owners make money???????

We just added the ability to accept PayPal on all of our sites to allow
even more ways of signing people up which tends to help signup ratios.
I asked King Karl what he thought the percent of PayPal signups were
averaging and he said around 5%. I think that is pretty slick since
PayPal is so easy to use and efficient. There are also new stats pages
that look terrific and are easy to use. I like them a lot. The sites
have also been redesigned with a new innovative method that shows surfers
the actual latest content pics that were added to the site in the last
few days so he knows the site is fresh and ever changing. Again, this

With all the talk in you newsletters about UNIX and Linux i decided
to install it and setup up a small Wildenstein and apache server. I
was wondering though, if you know of anyway other than using Samba to
access files on my Linux machine via windows other than telnet and FTP
as i have just spent 12 hours straight trying to access shares on my
windows 2000 machine but i think there is a bug as loads of people are
asking same questions.

well samba, ftp and telnet are the ways I do it. I have never really
fiddled with samba too much so I mainly use FTP. what are shares? shared
files? Are you trying to access on your windows box or access on your
unix box? I am not sure how to set it up in windows. in linux/unix...I
first create a user...the root user is not allowed to telnet or ftp
for security reasons....so I think it is adduser or useradd ...one of
them asks more questions...you want that one...make the person part
of the 'wheel' group (I am not sure why but people always tell me this.
If the box is working an on the net....then your ftp most likely is
running by default...try ftping in with that new user...you should end
up in something like /home/theuser. If you are having trouble getting
a file or into a folder...try chmod 777 on it...but change it back since
this is a security hole....I do this just to see if I have persmissions
wrong.
Hope some of this helps and
that I have not babbled too much info. To recap
1. make a new user other than root
2. try ftping in with that user
3. if you can't get a file, try temporarily relaxing the permissions
to 777
4. a great place for help are usenet groups...try a post in a linux
or unix group for the distribution you loaded.

info to add to this topic since I do not know samba and am not exactly

Basically it opens a can of worms for system administrators. If you
elect to bounce all unknown recipients, you are now open to this type
of attack. If you don't, and send them into a black hole, the people
sending honest mail to wrong addresses by mistake never know it didn't
get to where it was supposed to. As mail programs such as Sendmail get
more sophistcated in closing the open relay problems of the past, I
suspect we will start to see more of this type of attack. Might be good
to get some feedback from the Swap members on how to handle this.

their pricing is impossible. They would get my ad dollar if they lowered
prices. GOTO seems to be nickle and diming people to death these days.
I hope this stops. GOTO has price going for them which is tough to beat.
I find their account maintenance code to be a pain.

making rotary engines before I was even born (1979) up until 1993 with
the RX-7 rotary and if you ever peeped under the hood you'd see about

Also, I read that this McMaster
engine is powered by Ammonia (non-harmful) and Nitrous oxide (harmful)
which can be very explosive if kept in heat for a long time. I used
to run nitrous in my volkswagen and its good for a healthy 50hp shot
at the push of a button but its very damaging for engines long term
use.

prelude, way back in 1985, I remember Road and Track tested the RX7
vs Prelude vs Celica and the RX7 kicked butt and I was always envious.
The two engine designs are drastically different though. The mazda uses

WEEKLY FIGHT REPORT
TYSON
The Tyson fight was pretty good. Tyson looked good and did not crack
up. I can't wait to see him fight a top5 guy.
PRIDE
Pride fighting from Japan had some outstanding match-ups. The best of
the night was old timer "Don the Predator Fry" vs Gilmert
Ivel. Don is a wrestler and Gilbert a kick boxer...what a match. The
trouble wrestlers have is that you will get hit if you do not take a
striker down. The problem kick boxers have is that if they get taken
down, they are in a whole different world. So what happens when these
two sides meet? Well the wrestlers weighs the odds and says "I
will charge and get hit one good time in the head for the chance that
I can take this bastard to the mat". And the kick boxers plan is
to strike and run away and not get grabbed. That is how this fight went
all night. The two literally ran at each other. Gilbert threw a flying
knee and hit Don right in the chest. Don took that monster hit and grab
the knee and sucked Gilbert onto the mat. WOW! and here is the picture

Then Gilbert, did something not very nice and scratched Don's eyes.
This used to be allowed in the early years of Mixed Martial Arts but
has since been declared illegal and I think it is a fair rule. Don was
blinded but held onlike a champion. Gilbert cheated so much that he
lost of fouls. Very sad but Don The Predator is Back!

coming soon is UFC and then another PRIDE and LEWIS vs RAHMAN2. All

here is the latest story. The cobra is pretty well done but I fell behind
in the letters. Next week I should have official finished pics and I
am off to the race track next Saturday and Sunday!
